First Appeal under Salima Memorial Medical Education Project – Sister Zaynab Issa from South Lebanon wishing to complete Terminale Supérieure Course

Zaynab describes her social conditions by addressing Lady Fatemah Trust association the following letter
After hearing about your organization and your programs targeting to support and help people, especially the deprived talented ones, I address you my letter in order to cover my academic fees in these bad economic conditions.
Because of being fond of the “nursing” major and absence of accredited institutes in my region, I came to Tyr to the Nursing Vocational School of Imam Sadr Foundation and registered for the Terminale Superieure in nursing care. However, my parents can no more support any additional economic burden – which is already high (schooling my sister & brothers) – and because their only living support is as most of South-Lebanese villagers, tobacco plantation (regular income from the government). So, I pray my God and have great trust on Him and “tawakkol” that you’ll help me to realize my dream of becoming an efficient nurse helping people I my country.

Sister Amal Jaffal from South Lebanon wishing to complete TS Nursing
Amal, 29 years old, studied BT, worked for 3 years and then got married and had a baby. She stopped working then, preferring to raise her baby, but, unfortunately her husband lost his job. So now, after 7 years from her graduation in B.T. nursing, she decided to continue her studies (T.S. nursing) but she's unable to pay for her fees. Amal is a clever perseverant woman who was bright during her previous nursing education and who showed also good performance in hospitals. Knowing that nowadays her previous information has become obsolete, she took the choice to be up-to-dated in modern evidence-based nursing and to be able to work again in an accredited hospital in Tyr as soon as possible and if some white hands will support her financially to realize her goals.
Twelfth Appeal under Salima Memorial Medical Education Project
Sister Hanan Kaed Balhas from South Lebanon wishing to complete TS Nursing
Hanan and her husband have agreed on the need of additional financial and existential support for their emerging family. Hanan, as a young new mother, has opted for vocational nursing because, in her own opinion, it will help her to take a better care for her family and by preserving a better family health, their quality of life will be improved and their expenses will diminish. And thus, her family will participate in building a healthier and happier society. Consequently, her sword to kill poverty will be inchallah by the will of God, her nursing degree.

Sister Myriam Diab MANNA'A from South Lebanon wishing to complete TS Nursing
Myriam has always dreamt to become a nurse. She believes that the career of nursing is one of the most sacred and the best road to paradise because, as the Hadith assharif says that the leader of one community is their servant (sayyidu al-quawm khadimuhum). She wanted to continue her university studies but she knew she won't be able to because her sister, who is the main financial support of the family, is getting married and is no more capable of funding her studies. Finally, she opted for a shorter and more skills-based vocational nursing, hoping to overcome her financial obstacles and realize her dream of becoming the health elixir of sufferers.
