Appeal to assist Orphans at Kibowa Orphanage Centre

A registered orphanage located just outside Arusha town, houses 48 orphans. 8 more children stay as day children at the centre, and go back to their grandparents at night.
Total number of Orphans: 48. This is made up of 27 girls and 21 boys. All are aged between 4 to 19.
9 Orphans attend High School whereas 31 attend Primary and the Balance 8 attend Nursery school.
This centre is run by a group of ladies dedicated to improve the life of the less fortunate. All children attend secular schools during the day, and have an additional facility of attending Quran classes, in the evening.
Ramadhan Iftar Appeal for 3,169 families from the Coastal Region of Kenya
Holy Prophet (s.a.w.w) said "O people! Iftar to a fasting person during this month will be like one who has freed a slave and his past sins will be forgiven."
In Kenya the cost of basic necessities has drastically increased coupled with the shortage of food that has greatly affected the people who reside in the rural villages. Some strive hard for a meal a day while others do not know where their next meal will come from. The children in these areas have been affected the most.

Holy Month of Ramadhan – 1432 AH

FOOD DISTRIBUTION
BMM, Arusha Branch, Tanzania, intend to arrange food packages during the Holy Month of Ramadhan in and around Arusha. This program has been an on-going project, right through the year through well-wishers support, but during the Holy Month of Ramadhan, it is given an extra lift.
The food package would accommodate for 25 families within Arusha District. The recipients of these packages are elderly people, orphans or single mothers with two / three children whose bread winner has either died or abandoned them.
LFT assists 12 more Amputee cases in Tanzania
bringing a total number of Amputees to 128. LFT Donors USD 450.00 will change a life.

According to the BBC survey made in 1995 there are 58 Million disables in Africa. 98% of them have no employment and can afford only 1 meal a day. In 1996 to 1999 Mr Antony Mutalema the secretary of CHAWATA "CHAMA CHA WALEMAVU TANZANIA" (ORGANISATION OF DISABLES IN TANZANIA) and Mr John Bussee Representative of the organization for disables in Sweden visited villages after villages in Kagera region and issued a report of Disability in Bukoba.

KIBOWA (Kituo Bora cha Watoto) is a small upcoming orphanage, which at present is caring for 45 children. These children come from around Arusha. Mrs Amina and Mrs Mchome, own the orphanage centre and their dedication towards the welfare of the children has been par excel lance.
